Amsterdam University College
Amsterdam University College (AUC) was established in 2009 as a collaborative initiative between the University of Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, aiming to provide a unique educational experience. The college offers an American-style liberal arts and sciences program that emphasizes interdisciplinary study, critical thinking, and personal development. AUC’s philosophy fosters diverse approaches, ideas, and values, which collectively create a vibrant and intellectually stimulating learning environment.
TEDxAUCollege
TEDxAUCollege is an independently organized TEDx event, executed by the student association of AUC, known as AUCSA. It is made up of dedicated, hard-working students from all over the world who all share a passion for innovation and growth. This event embodies AUC’s small-scale, intimate approach to education, creating an open and inviting atmosphere where students can share their unique ideas and experiences.

In line with this mission, TED’s overarching goal of spreading ideas, inspiring individuals, fostering innovation, and driving positive change resonates deeply within the community at AUC. We believe that there is no better platform to achieve this than at Amsterdam University College.
